Because sometimes talking over something is quicker and gets to the point quicker than endless emails, waiting for replies etc. If a mod goes rogue or gets upset over something and starts damaging the owners site and reputation then a telephone call is needed to discuss.

As I said Digs, it possibly to confirm if they are at least the man or woman they claim to be, she/he could easily withhold his/her number when calling the hunk and you can get a better take on a person through a phone call. I mentioned on this site I ran a forum started with family, relatives, friends and then people at work, got too much. I actually gave my number and email to a few people I thought I knew well at work and two of them abused my trust, so it can work both ways. I don't like or dislike Stooo, Holly HF but I don't go by hearsay as there are many out there that will lie and lie about you especially if you feel you were close to someone and then for whatever reason had a fallout. One of the people that worked with me, it go so bad that I had to take it to personnel. IMO, don't share stuff you don't want shared with others.

EG, is this ture? Often rasied here that Holly and HF can't stand Dean. If true, why is he/she not perma banned? And there is the problem with hearsay.

I wouldn't dream of asking Syl for her number. If she went 'rogue' on me, I'd just boot her arse off here. I don't care if she male, female or any number of sexual genders that seem to be circulating the planet. I've known her for ten years on forums and that's enough for me.

Digs why were every members (except Syl ) private conversations put to read? I felt sorry for posters like Ray because he had done fuck all to anybody. Was it Budgie's idea , he is a right dodgy cunt. I know Shell couldnt stand Fluffy but her convos were boring as fuck, that's why I didn't always believe the posters all so eager to blame Shell.

I wonder why Dox wanted to chat to Fluffy and Faithy? I mean why those two younger female posters , just can't imagine. .

Faithy was a gorgeous woman although I prefer natural to bolt ons. She was a good laugh but gobby and posted some nasty stuff but she was under pressure. Close family member was very ill , won't go into detail , and she left.

She would be only a few years shy of 40 now, can't see her ever returning tbh.

You do know that Shell was running this place at the time, don't you? She was admin, it was her decision. It's a long complicated story all set off by Vassago threatening Shell, and her retaliating. Budgie was the one who revealed to admin at the time - Shell and MG - that the whispers could be read. Mods couldn't read them. MG account shared with Vassago - her then paramour - and the pair of them read the whispers. Budgie warned everyone on CM at the time that the whispers could be read by admin. Nobody took any notice of him. It all blew up big time and the hypocrites, backstabbers and all round bad eggs got exposed.

There was the usual pearl clutching, hands thrown up in horror etc. But that didn't stop every single person from reading them.

When Shell passed admin onto me, I removed the whispers from the site.

And just for clarification, Syl didn't whisper. I didn't even know the whispers existed for ages. I'd be sitting in a chat room with MG and Vass and wonder why they were both so quiet
