There are a couple of not so nice posters there but TBH, it's not completely their fault as Admin has the ability to ban, permanently ban everyone, so if anyone is to blame, I blame them. The Anons that were nasty to TnG, sadly some people are like that as they have gotten used to posting tripe.

Someone that has learned the hard way who is a real friend and who is shallow. I an now playing the idiots at their own game. Once we get a new admin, I will then lick their backside and build up a good rapport and then get banned a couple of horrible posters.

Just want to add that I'm no stirrer as you put it but someone that feels they've been let down, badly. I've always liked Digger and hate the way some men, if you can call them that post nasty comments mainly at women. I join when the the sock goes.

I always amazes me that people who post in the Whine have such selective memories. It's OK for them to spout vitriol or rant, but when they feel they're on the receiving end it's a different story. We're happy for people to have their say, particularly if they feel blocked on other forums. But don't be surprised if you get some back.

You're "hoping Toke is a nice person"? But you're happy letting this go on for no good reason. I think you've only got to look at his posts (on Dogs and here) to see that he is nice, and he's only ever retaliated on here when anons have said something to him first (usually Dean winding him up) He certainly hasn't come on here just to "utilise the Whine" as you put it, not that I've seen, so that's unfair to say that he has.

Anyway, I hope he comes back because, personally, I enjoy his rants and they're always aimed in the right direction.

I think it's just the fact that Toke and Dr Synne hit it off straight away, but Dr Synne was a member on Dogs long before Toke. Before he joined he posted under the Toke 'n' Gesture name but kept it as his username when he officially joined. I think some people just don't like it when people 'get on', as it were, so started making up crap about sock puppets.

And now I've read that back to myself I realise I spend far too much time reading these forums

Anyone who posts in the Whine is utilising it, particularly if they are ranting. Why would I make allowances for one random non-member poster on here? Not so long ago Twizzler was the target. That was stopped because she's a member here. Anons, trolls and non-members take their chances in the Whine. But even then, the most vicious posts are removed. You have no idea what we've denied on here regarding Toke. You only see what we let through. The only reason you get to enjoy his/her rants is because we allow it on here. So make your mind up.

Sorry, maybe I didn't make it very clear. No, Toke always used Toke 'n' Gesture as his 'guest' name before he joined there, so when he actually registered he registered as Toke 'n' Gesture so people would still know it was him, which was good because you knew then that he'd been posting for a while already.

He wasn't hiding his (forum) identity, that's what i'm saying.

How did you misread that? It's in black and white that Token Gesture was, and has always been Token Gesture. He used the name as a guest, even though Dogs don't like that sort of thing, and then he joined using the same handle. How can you misread that?

I'm not sure nasty is the right word, I'd say she's more devious than anything else. But pulling the wool over peeps eyes comes easy to her. Plus she cherry picks through the anons posts to which suits her agenda the most, those hit the board 100%, the rest of the approvals are few and far between.

That's not true actually. We have always let the majority of anon posts through, read back a bit and you will see some of the worst comments have been about Digger and myself, and we have allowed them, if only to show up the idiots who write them.

Over the last week or so I personally have binned about 10% of the anon posts, not to protect either Digger or myself, but to save the rest of the forum from the inconvenience of being bored rigid by repetitive tripe.

I've just noted in the RCT over there there was a thread about CM without mentioning CM. They were saying that the dogs accepted guest posts and.... Go gal, you put the idiots in their place.

Someone that has learned the hard way who is a real friend and who is shallow. I an now playing the idiots at their own game. Once we get a new admin, I will then lick their backside and build up a good rapport and then get banned a couple of horrible posters.

Just want to add that I'm no stirrer as you put it but someone that feels they've been let down, badly. I've always liked Digger and hate the way some men, if you can call them that post nasty comments mainly at women. I join when the the sock goes.

I'm not sure nasty is the right word, I'd say she's more devious than anything else. But pulling the wool over peeps eyes comes easy to her. Plus she cherry picks through the anons posts to which suits her agenda the most, those hit the board 100%, the rest of the approvals are few and far between.
That's not true actually. We have always let the majority of anon posts through, read back a bit and you will see some of the worst comments have been about Digger and myself, and we have allowed them, if only to show up the idiots who write them.
Over the last week or so I personally have binned about 10% of the anon posts, not to protect either Digger or myself, but to save the rest of the forum from the inconvenience of being bored rigid by repetitive tripe.

You all talk about anons like they're a bit of shit on your shoes, so why have them post in the first place?

Anon above is complaining about posts not being approved as a guest while being a member, it's an abuse of the system and a waste of time for all involved so they get binned.
