Aww. This is a guess but it's dad's army reference, before my time but it used to be shown on a Sunday on bbc1. Pike was like the young silly bugger , they were the home guard during the war and all useless. Like Faulty Towers it was a sitcom that cud actually make you laugh unlike today's pc crap.

Sorry Syl I think your a fab mod and poster but you can't say you know who every anon poster is. Same with any forum. It could be a cm member posting as anon , a dogs poster , or just a reader from ds.

I'm sure members here treat with with respect but you can't say for sure that a fm never posts as as Anon. Not just about Dr synne but about anyone.

I don't pretend to know who every anon is and have never implied I do, but there is a certain tone from Dogs posters who post in whine only to run CM members, the forum and the way it's run, down all the time.

I take your point, if Dr S ever posted on DS, that it could have been a poster from there....though I doubt it, as far as I know DS posters hardly know of our existence.
