So bottom line that's now why no minister goes on that program anymore.

"Apologise" for what? It was NOT for his interview style BUT having his fans overwhelm OFCOM. You want to disagree with that, if so post the link to where OFCOM found him guilty but you can't as it's not true.  You'd rather have minsters making BS promises and whenever they are in trouble they come up with something that will please most people to distract

from their current woes. Tell me, son, why did the government downgrade this murderous virus?

He apologised to OFCOM. That's how the article I read at the time put it at least. Like I say I don't watch that program. But feeling the need to apologise to your followers is even worse really, pissing off those who probably like you is obviously not a good situation to find yourself in.

Downgrade? Link? I think I know what you're talking about but I'll let you post the link. Then I'll explain it to you after.

-- Edited by JP on Thursday 30th of April 2020 06:08:35 PM

So, you did not watch the program as you put it but made an inaccurate statement anyway, just about sums you uplol

I won't waste my time posting a link to the downgraded virus as you by your own admission are aware of it and therefore not able to add anything useful.

I read an article about it. So the article may have sensationalised the situation a tad. Why is that my fault? You are welcome to watch that shitty program.

A plonker. Sums you up very nicely. As per usual.

You won't. Ah how convenient. lol

But he does not wear on on the Coronavirus briefings so what are you on about? He looks like as though he is well under-dressed  and last week there was a woman walking around in the background. He is not with it and not fir for the purpose.

I'm surprised you dont like Mr. Preston :lesson:

As for the P.M  his life was saved by the wonderful Dr's and Nurses and now the Tories can't dismantle the NHS. nono   All those years wasted  of insidiously but fastidiously trying to destroy it.  It's a blessing the annual  underfunding  (which meant there wasn't enough ventilators ) didn't result in loss of life.

This Government didn't care if a small number of elderly died as the leaked email revealed. Ouch  beg

I think Boris's  experience will mean a more humane government , he is the best of a bad lot and said there were no plans for austerity.  Hopefully he has learnt some lessons in humility and gratitude so nice to see him back.  That other cyborg co wrote a book with Pitti Patel on how the UK must scrap the NHS.  He must clap every Thursday thru gritted teeth!  oh well,  them's the breaks Dominic!  giggle

Regarding ventilators. There being enough didn't happen by chance. It was good planning.

Your post is full of fiction. Some links proving your claims would be nice to see.

Whatley and the Safeguarding Minister a few days ago. He was like a terrier at a badger baiting.

So you'd rather this government got away with "working hard," and it is about time too but where are the results. Almost every day we have UK firms on telly telling us about them having PPE and, or materials of the grades required but get no response from this lot so they sell to the USA and EU. So you and your mate would rather see no robust questioning. I'd laugh at you if this was not a serious subject.

Who is my mate? Calm the fuck down.

Don't believe me if you choose ,  all the facts in my post were on the News at the time they occurred.  I'm not running around like an errand boy retrieving links  until I am more sure of the place.

There wasn't enough ventilators initially  because Boris did his jobs for the boys routine even in the middle of a pandemic. He gave the contract to Mr Dyson so they wud make a handsome profit. the NHS was forced to wait for the right amount as a result, If the public had not conformed to social distancing  and isolation it would be a very different,  heartbreaking reality.  Don't troll about people's lives.

Care homes and hospitals both were struggling without the correct  amount of PPE for some time. Again , plastered all over the News. Boris delayed the lockdown and many lives were lost. Other countries were appalled and perplexed at his choices , such as allowing flights into the UK. Other European countries  stopped all flights. Why didn't our government,  what do you think their reasoning was to take such a dangerous risk sarc

Jeremy Hunt said there was no funds available for the NHS or a pay rise for the workers ,  some went on strike. You recall this or maybe it's inconvenient so  pretend it's fiction? It  Seems the government had a forest of money trees if needed, let alone mere NHS funding!

The leaked email was in the  News , is easily googled as is the book penned by Patel and Dominic. They are not ashamed of it but they might have changed their tune now for appearances only.

You're not much of a Tory if you don't realise private health care has been a long term goal of theirs prior to the virus.  I'm not going to even entertain the insistence thst you don't know that. opz

 No they don't.

Maybe it's irony as JD says mate all the time? The person apologised so why can't you people just have a debate without continual silly insults. Always so defensive ,  there's no need. Some posters want to engage and discuss but in a civilised way. Things don't have to be so bloody nasty all the time.

You have made it obvious you are not exactly a fan of the Narcissistic orange President lol and have to say can't blame you for that. The man needs sectioning not to be the most powerful man in the world. ..anyway don't get me started! xr

but I'd be interested to know if you support the Tories and how well you think they have handled the crisis. You don't seem to talk about it much?

His ties are just a small part of the overall impression, his manner, the way he loves the sound of his own voice, the way he continuously asks the same questions even though they have been answered the day before...and the day before that, is very irritating.

And as the anon mentioned before, last week he did have someone coming in and out of the door behind him whilst he was on camera, very unprofessional and very distracting.
