I've been a fan and admirer of Lionel Messi for a long time, a marvellous man and a fantastic player and I came across this video of a wee boy rushing up to Messi to get his autograph and the boy was promptly huckled away by security.

However...

Of course Lionel Messi plays for Barcelona and Barcelona's biggest rivals are Real Madrid.

Few players would turn down the chance to play for either team but Bert Konterman did!!

My welcome pack came yesterday!!

I've sponsored a puppy called Daisy to train as a hearing dog.

The welcome pack was very nice.

It had pictures, a wee jotter, a pen and a wee cuddly dog wearing a swish wee coat.

Wee Daisy has been put on top of the wardrobe because Big Daisy wouldn't leave it alone.

Just like my Daisy.

Talking of the hooligan, it's two years next week since she came to stay with me.

Daze has turned into a sturdy wee dog with loads of personality, a far cry from when she first arrived.

Conjunctivitis, problems with her teeth, blood in her poo and a problem with her hip.

Of course Daisy's health problems can all be traced to this person.

I have discovered Avonbridge Kennels where I bought  Daisy are still open.

Though Wilf Whatshisname is banned from running it there's nothing to stop another family member running it.

(All the pups looked the same)

Looks nice and registered with the Kennel club and local council and it was a puppy farm.

Two of my favs, Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury are going to have a fight!!

Big Tyson is the undefeated world heavyweight boxing champion and Big Drew (but not quite as big as Tysers) is the first Scottish and British Wrestler to win WWE Championship!!

Tyson Fury was in the Capital yesterday making a video and winding Drew up!!

petrol station open near me

Coatbridge millionaire Mark Miller is helping out Albion Rovers by funding a camera scheme that will allow lower leagues to broadcast games when the smaller leagues start next month.

Mark helped rescue Marvel and worked with the likes of Spiderman and Superman and he's hopeful this could catch on and raise money for the lower leagues here.

This news has also prompted my 80 year old father to buy a laptop so he can watch the games, he can wear that Rover top he bought a few years ago when they won the Second Division.
