The murder of George Floyd had let loose an excuse for tidal wave of extremism. If the police who arrested him were getting away with this I could understand the rage, but they are not, they are rightly being held to account.
I would bet a good % of the people who are joining in these demo's that are becoming increasingly violent are the sort who perpetrated football violence in the guise of being football fans a few years ago....in other words, yobs looking for trouble.
