Having seen this classic film (which I have just bought) many times on telly decades ago, I do wonder after 9/11 how many preposterous conspiracy theories have grown from this scene?

Like you I saw that film decades ago on TV, I enjoyed it...and I do remember the plane crash scene without watching it again...very eerie.

I was never a fan of Burton though, he always seemed to me to be acting Shakespeare even when he was acting Kitchen sink drama.
