I am trying to work out how this thread got derailed. It seems to have gone pear shaped with the Anon posting on 12:30, 12:35 & 12:36 which inflamed members here.
Then the Anon comment on 12:50 inflamed an Anon who replied on 02:36 which inflamed further members here.
Now everyone is assuming that it is Dean that derailed the thread. They will see that someone from Birmingham is visiting and conclude they were right even though there are over four million from that area.
PEOPLE...members and guests alike, can you not add your post to more than four others.....it can stretch the page and make it almost impossible to read.
Morning Vic No, not yet. Airport here will finally reopen for international routes on 1st July, so I’m praying I’ll be able to go soon after. Bloody hope so, cos I’m in bits with homesickness.
Have you finally been able to catch up with your brother at last?
Fingers crossed you get to go home then Vam, the wee pupsters must really be missing you now.
No I still have seen my brother that's since February now and my dad is 80 in August and he's worried my brother won't make his wee 'get together'
He's not having a party because his brother died last month and what with his best friend dying in February, he's not wanting a 'fuss'
Hopefully we can go out for a nice meal.
Thanks Vic Buffa (rhymes with woofa, Italian for funny girl) had a bit of a problem that resulted in a vet visit. Nothing serious thank feck, but you can imagine the state of me, stuck uselessly out here!
From what I saw, I thought restrictions were starting to ease up a bit over where you are - family visits allowed, that kind of thing? If I’m wrong, I’m wishing it on you & yours. I know how close your family is.
Crazy times but we’ll get there in the end, Vic!
My mum paid my Aunt a visit a couple of weeks ago but they sat in the garden and maintained social distancing, she came home pissed and badly sun burned.
At 76 you would think she would know better!!
Daisy needs her booster and her nails clipped, hopefully we'll get them done soon.
Glad to hear Buffa's problem wasn't a serious one, fingers crossed we'll be back to normal soon.
As the title says. The majority of new members get attacked by Guests and a few members. Sometimes a few members will latch on to them and continue to create a hostile environment. The net result is that most new members stop posting and leave. So what is the point of that? Is it Dogs policy to provide new meat for their caged animals or is it due to some internal inconsistency?
They've driven off pretty much all of their older/long term posters as well; well one person has assisted by her pet owner, If they haven't been perma'd then posters will have posts removed and banned each time they try to post, when hobbit is around anyway.
It's now DS with swearing and only views shared by stoo and hobbit are welcome, anyone posting against come in for ridicule, threats and bans. Rags was one, Mungo and Red are others. There is no discussion in his 'serious threads' because he shuts down anything he disagrees with.
The Arms is just DS, what did you watch on tele and what did you have to eat.
Well at least you have this echo chamber to lick your wounds in.
An echo chamber that seems to fascinate you judging by the way you constantly window lick.
Echo chambers are fascinate me. What’s the point in them other than wound licking about Pooches window licking?!. Vicks is sore for being publicly dumped, dr Synne is upset because he wasn’t as good at shit stirring as he thought, Vam is raging at Stooo for sticking up for his admin. And they think they’re an asset to a forum!
My name is Victoria and I don't give a flying fuck about being 'Dumped' from Dogs.
My Uncle died last month, my Godfather died in February and at the weekend a family friend threw himself in front of a lorry.
Maybe if you had things happen that put forum matters into perspective, you would realise just how unimportant being 'dumped' from a forum actually is.
Now run along and don't address me again.
Just ignore him Vicks. He’s never away from here.
Agreed, forums don't matter when you have real issues to deal with. Sorry to hear about your bereavement .
I am facing similar circumstances and that's why I enjoy posting here, as a diversion. Just feel sorry for people who can't move on like you have, their life is thinking about forums!
