 She seems to think displays of chavvy hostility on forums is the epitome of oneupmanship too. I think it's cringe at best, and just makes me feel a bit sad for the pair of them.

Vam was a Guest on Dogs for quite some time before admitting who she was, but here she is having a pop at a poster who has done no worse than her. Vam's mad rants used to leave posters both disgusted and in awe at such toxic displays , she can't enjoy being censored.

It would be so refreshing for Poca and Vam both to debate on non forum related threads. But they only get passionate about personal abuse. It's a shame. They must have opinions on things that matter, it would be nice to hear them!

 I believe they are friendly now Syl. 

I like fiery characters but not ones that use that passion for arguing or putting other people down.  But we all like different people and that's what makes forums interesting.

Its funny how things turn out. I can say I only really clicked with one poster on forums and they could not stand me. For months. For years . Then all of a sudden we just got on,  they were very funny and we shared the same political beliefs. They had a lot more common knowledge and sense than me  (not that that's  difficult! )  They left forums without a word after some time after some rather nasty  bullying came to light. 

The jury was out and the moral majority (quite capable of being involved in bullying of the most unsavoury kind, all )found them wanting . It's odd how selective posters are,  they forgive some for trolling and being unkind but never others who are reminded of any flaw in their  behaviour whenever they dare speak.  A lot of posters have left because their own behaviour shocked and humbled them. They are much happier for doing so I hope.

Do you wonder what has happened to forumers you really liked and got on with years ago, and hope they are well?  Melfi was a posted I liked too, FH was actually my fave forum. It was bonkers :woo:but in a more restrained way. The insults were milder, it was considered bad taste to post pictures of others and all the other real life balls was never tolerated there.

 I too wonder about what happened to certain posters who no longer post. I agree Melfi was a lovely poster, she was on the Mirror forum when I first discovered forums, that was way back in 2007, she hasn't posted on forums for years as far as I know.

It would be interesting to know which poster you liked a lot who has since disappeared, no doubt some of us would remember him/her.
