Words cannot express how disgusted I was by this verdict.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the jury had been 'influenced' by these friendly and cheerful traveller folk who give everyone such joy wherever they turn up by intimidating, robbing, destroying, assaulting and leaving huge piles of rubbish and human excrement as part of their now protected 'culture'. 

God I hope there is a retrial, the jury are properly protected this time and the feral bastards put away for the rest of their miserable, worthless lives.

It will never bring poor Andrew back but at least it would send a message that the brutal murder of a serving officer will not be tolerated - even by this poor persecuted 'minority'.

 Well they wont be out before they have served at least two thirds of their sentences, it's still pathetic, they should have been given 30 years a piece....to be served in full.

Obviously even if the charge had been murder they wouldn't have received anything like that.

Because ever since they were ruled an ethnic group they are free to do what the hell they like in case the authorities are accused of persecuting a minority or 'racism'.

But that's Viz for you Syl, their stories were/are often very broad stereotypes -  Sid the Sexist, The Fat Slags, Cockney Wanker, Biffa Bacon etc although none of those types of people complained to the United Nations about a bloody cartoon, and the bloke who did turned out to be a Traveller career criminal which is irony at it's most delicious!

 It's hailed as 'racist' in some people's eyes.   True Romani don't call themselves that.   I'm not so sure that many travellers are actually of Romani descent.  Or if they are, they're so removed from those ancient peoples that they've done the Romani tribe not good at all in the eyes of society.
