That is pretty racist tbh....doesn't make it untrue though.
Is it?
Well it does seem to be tarring all gypsies with the same brush.
But that's Viz for you Syl, their stories were/are often very broad stereotypes - Sid the Sexist, The Fat Slags, Cockney Wanker, Biffa Bacon etc although none of those types of people complained to the United Nations about a bloody cartoon, and the bloke who did turned out to be a Traveller career criminal which is irony at it's most delicious!

What about Tyson Fury??? He's a traveller and I bet you, no i guarantee that you wouldn't say all that to him and he proves not all travellers are scum.
In general a lot of them are though as people will tell you from their own experiences up and down the land - thousands of people and news reports are not lying just to be bigots - facts are facts.
Tyson is a notable exception and probably my favourite sportsman of the moment and a truly great bloke.
I hope he kicks the shit out of the actual racist Joshua if and when they meet (his carefully prepared nice guy public mask has slipped badly twice, most recently in the BLM protests).

Unfortunately those aren't facts, just weasel words. 'People will tell you', 'experiences up and down the land', 'thousands of people'... all vague stuff that doesn't add up to anything meaningful.

If people are talking from experience that's hardly 'just weasel words'.
All I know is when the Easter fair comes round here lots of sheds get broken into and washing goes missing off lines.
It's hailed as 'racist' in some people's eyes. True Romani don't call themselves that. I'm not so sure that many travellers are actually of Romani descent. Or if they are, they're so removed from those ancient peoples that they've done the Romani tribe not good at all in the eyes of society.
It's the Irish Travellers that are the real problem the true Romani are not the same.

So you never read the news then and everyone in every place they visit throughout the land is a lying, racist bigot for the sake of it?
Do me a favour.
I hope some rock up near you and then we will see how far you can fall off your virtue signalling high horse.

It's more about your use of rhetoric to try to make a point - not just you of course, it seems to be a common tactic. I'm well aware of the social nuisance some 'travellers' create, I don't condone it.
