Easy to miss in all those pages of endless navel-gazing, but a guest made a good point in that thread the other day: It would help if Stooo didn’t insipidly flip-flop like a fish on a line.  One minute he’s moodily whining about wanting to summarily shut the place down, and the next he’s droning on about wanting posters’ input on how his little vanity site can ‘evolve & move on’.

Self-importantly announcing that he convened Admin board meetings to discuss ways to improve the forum experience for the “community”. I can really tell those Admin discussions have been soooo mega-productive so far - not a single one of them has come up with a definitive decisive plan of action. Just a load of auld bollox & vague BS, as usual.

That said, it’s only polite to give a shout-out to whoever it was that finally decided to lift my months-long IP ban after the Halfling permed me, so cheers for that! wink

@ all the precious petals whining in that thread that they haven't been posting because the trolling got way too ‘personal & abusive & brooootal!’cry

From what I’ve seen, it’s all pretty much been fragrant AF, troll-free zone for a good while. So, really, what’s your excuse now?

 They're looking for scapegoats. Most small businesses fail because the owner refuses to see or admit to the real problems - in Stoo's case he needs to look at how his admin behave, but it's unlikely he'll want to do that. Bottom line is that bad tempered admin regularly issuing threats put people off posting.

I noticed the lovely Sunny is still there, rather surprised about that after all the horrible stuff that goes on on there she was always such a really friendly and pleasant poster,  I thought she would be long gone by now.

It's common amongst jazz performers and people who are most happy..

 

 

Al Jolson used to do it during a performance, there might have been a few complaints if he'd wiped his todger out and had a 'fiddle' during 'Mammy'

Sunny was the nice guest I was talking to on the football thread when I was posting again at the start of the year, I will use this opportunity to wish Spurs all the best for the new season.

There's been no posts on the football thread since March and no posts on it unless I was posting.

Yet Deany Poos would whine 'She's taking over the thread posting about Rangers'

 he's announced 'board-wide' changes that boil down to giving more banning powers to admin.
