And the Oscar went to Anthony Hopkins - no woke/SJW speeches on and off the stage as quick as lightening.

How admirable that he overcame his demons with alcohol (mind you he had a lot of help) to become one of the greatest actors of his generation.

Burton and Hopkins could have been brothers but Anthony has survived and good for him.

I see Hobbit is doing her very best to drive off the last few remaining posters over at Dogs. Poca got the treatment yesterday and today it’s the turn of Kizzie. That was the role of a lifetime, and obviously he was brilliant in it. He has done some great work since then too.

Hopkins has always struck me (unlike Burton) as a shy unassuming man, that's how he comes across to me anyway.
