The biggest problems tend to be in the more democratic areas. That has nothing to do with Trump. I mean he might be agitating people, but the BLM crowd is more destructive in left leaning areas. Has been since before Trump.

He could stop holding super-spreader rallies where few of his supporters wear masks and don't socially distance (or at least hold the meetings by the rules), stop constantly undermining all his medical experts like Dr Fauci, stop saying how COVID is really not as bad as the flu and stop tweeting ludicrous outright lies, misinformation and conspiracy theories about the virus.

That would be a start.

But it's far too late for that - with all the advantages the US has over most of the world America is not even out of the first wave and things are going to get worse.

On a world basis it was nearly 7000 dead yesterday with 1225 of those Americans, it's really taking hold in Europe again so it's going to be a long hard winter for so many I expect MD.

What I do know is that Biden won't be able to do anything about this either. Except talk a good game, which is plenty for some people I guess. The president of the US has very little power except to write checks for emergencies. Fighting Covid is done on the state or local level here.
