 Me neither.  The level of almost hysterical hatred spouting out kind of amazes me.    Joe Biden and the Democrat high command loathe Brexit Britain and hold a contemptuous, anti-British attitude to everything to do with our future relationship.   Joe Biden believes Britain’s exit from the EU risks unravelling the Good Friday Peace Agreement.   Any trade deals the UK might have hoped for with the US are now seriously at risk.  And that will impact on us all.   I'm not a fan of Trump...I think he's an arrogant narcissist.  But...he's always been pro British.   And he's never been anyone's puppet.  Biden might appear to be the saviour of worlds here, but my gut doubts that very much.

So, all the screaming hoards of British Trump haters might well have to eat their own shit over the next few years.   Trump has been the only prominent politician in the world to challenge the Chinese Communist Party’s appalling corruption and undermining of world trade. Now, the rise of China will go unchecked.

I hope a miracle happens.   But they rarely do.  I'd love to say 'What does it matter to anyone in the UK who is POTUS?"   Sadly, I think it will matter to a great many people and not in a good way.

 I don't think it will make much difference in  most of our lives, whether British, American or Nigerian, but in my gut I'm OK with a lot of foreign leaders and citizens not liking our guy in charge.

 Maybe so, but no point blaming Biden. He's under no obligation to keep us happy, there are other countries for him to trade with. Look for the root cause, the unwise decision by the British public to leave the EU. Any difficulties we might face getting trade deals stems from that.

 The EU isn't so great. Even The Guardian has featured articles stating that the coronavirus has exposed the EU more than ever. It's not really a Union.

Many people disagree with your view. And believe that it was wise to get out when we have. 

The UK has also secured 23 trade deals with 52 Countries so far. Including with Japan. That number has continued to grow rather quite rapidly.

Watch this space I don't believe UK/USA trade deal is at risk. UK/USA longstanding kinship and history is bigger than just 1 POTUS.

If he does that, I hope Boris will stand up to him. He's not Irish, he's American and he should confine his business to his own country.

It makes me laugh the way some Americans wear the Irish tag as a badge of honour because some ancestor was Irish.

They have never set foot anywhere near Ireland, know little about the conflict and what the English had to endure when the IRA were actiive and indiscriminately murdering people ....much like the Muslims are doing today..

I saw Biden throw out the remark "I am Irish" the other day on TV...totally out of context too.

Yes, it gets on my nerves. If they don't have an Irish accent, they're not Irish IMO.

 

Biden said that when a reporter from the BBC asked him for a quick word. Biden replied that he was Irish for some reason - sounded a bit sinister to me.
