 The book had a more downbeat ending.   I love Adam Nevill's use of mythology and eldritch horror in his work.  He's a great writer.   His book, No One Gets Out Alive, had me on the edge of my seat.

Watched The Shallows for the first time the other night, a good old fashioned B movie and entertaining enough although for the first 20 mins I was a bit distracted by the leading lady parading about in her tiny bikini! lol
