It's a sad story all round. Sad for the children who died and their parents, sad for the family of the nurse who did it, and even sad for the nurse herself - to be in a place to do such a terrible thing.
Why exactly is it sad for the nurse?
Even if she is found insane she will be looked after 24/7 - unlike the babies who are now rotting corpses or ashes.
Why is it sad for her too? Come out of your blinkered mind-box and think about it some more.
You are honesty having a pop at me for not having empathy for a baby mass murderer?
Fuck off.
Can I remind everyone that at this stage there is no baby mass murderer and no murdered babies. That is for the court to decide. At the moment there are dead babies and that is sad but whether there was foul play involved has to be determined by the court.
I disagree that I have said anything that hasn't already been splashed all over the papers.
I am aware that the woman hasn't been found guilty as yet.
I am also aware that after being arrested three times and now charged with the murders of eight babies and attempted murders of 10 babies, the CPS must have very strong evidence against her that they believe can be proven in a court of law.
I was just making some points, you allowed me to say them and that's it. I don't want to stop in anyway the discussion clearly there are lots of issues to discuss. If this person is found to have intentionally killed the babies then we will also need to ask what sort of oversight is there in this area, that is how was it "allowed" to happen. I seem to recall a while ago someone was accused of killing her babies with salt but I think maybe that conviction was overturned (I am half remembering it).

Yes, she did a terrible thing, it made you angry, we get it.
Only religious people believe in evil. She has been charged but as yet nothing has been proven in court. Rather than demonising an individual based on allegations why not wait for the judicial process to occur?
Why the hell are you bringing up religion?
'Demonisng' her?
We could have a long and boring discussion on evolutionary psychology and personality disorders but 'evil' is an expression for behaviour far beyond the norm and I think is currently the best term for killing innocent young babies that comes to mind.
The CPS does not charge people with such serious crimes unless they are 100% sure of a conviction.

So you are using the murders of babies to have a cheap go at me anonymously.
Sheer class.

Simple. You, you're the threads. But me, I'm the rope.
People are always using excuses to make cheap insults at each other when they don't agree with each other. The common factor seems to emotional rather than rational responses. Whether the topic is on people that kill babies, or people that don't vote for Clinton or Biden, or the topic of Trump or Brexit or barriers to immigration or islamophobia or transphobia or whatever. The little people are easy to divide and rule over.
