When the vaccines come I just hope many of the anti vaxxers will change their bloody minds for the sake of their elderly/sick relatives.
Or they will keep the virus circulating far longer than it should especially in America and it's a horrible and lonely way to die.

Also do you not believe Italian scientists who claim the virus was around from at least last September in Italy. Or are China just lying about the origin and start date of the virus.

It's all very interesting if may be nothing else.

The evidence is ambiguous as best although I would not put it past the Chinese to keep the real origin date about the virus to themselves.

That is the best news I have heard about this pandemic for months.

Yes, it is good news. My sister tested positive yesterday. So it seems more and more likely that we got it from my mother as she visited her almost daily too, before she was put in the covid ward. We were not allowed to visit my mother together and hadn't seen each other in weeks.

Of course its blowing up like crazy here, so we could have gotten it in a lot of places I guess.

I trust the science. 90-95% vaccine efficacy? I’ll take those odds, cos it sure beats the alternative like maybe ending up under a ventilator.

As you say, things are looking brighter. And knowing that should make it psychologically easier for folks to hold on just a bit longer & do what’s right to keep themselves & others safe.

Hopefully it will, and the people who have been following the guidelines, and the poor people who have been isolated or shielded for many months, hopefully life will soon (maybe next spring) be back closer to normality.
This lockdown has been a lot harder than the first one for us....obviously because of the weather, but it wont last, the weeks are oddly rushing past.

And she didnt go to the hospital after the first day. She stayed in the background fighting the hospital, and doing her mean stuff.

So she wasnt around my mom when she was positive.

At 90% this virus will die out in a few months. Between those of us with some immunity because we had it, and the vaccine, we should be doing well by June.

The vaccines cant come soon enough as this second wave is brutal, 11,000 deaths day worldwide now and it's going insane in the US atm.

So it's been decided...over Christmas three families can get together for five days, which means if you have three big families there could be 20 or more people in one house over the festive period.
