Just watched the latest Downing street update.
As thought Manchester will be back in Tier 3 from next Wednesday....London Tier 2.

The justification for the 5 day Christmas amnesty is...Well people will travel, mix, ignore social distancing anyway over Christmas, there is nothing we can do to stop it...so go ahead, even though there will be an inevitable spike in the new year (I paraphrase, but that's exactly what they meant)
