For example, I woke up this morning and for some reason a tune was playing in my head with lyrics..'Two little girls from little rock'. I had no idea where the song was from and it bugged me.
Pre internet I would probably only find out if it eventually came to me or I asked enough people and hope one of them would know what I was on about.

But not now....because google knows everything.
Wasnt't that song from Gentleman Prefer Blondes with Marilyn Monroe?

I used to be the same I had a 22 inch waist at one point. What happened? Oh, yeah, old age and cream buns. If MM had gotten old she'd have lost that waist too. There comes a time in a woman's life when she has to choose between her face or her arse. Being scraggy ain't a good look either.

22'' waist is tiny, I think the last time I measured that was when I was about 16 years old.
I was always 26 waist, have no idea what I am now, obviously more. My dress size hasn't changed but my shape certainly has.....better than the alternative though.

I'm sure certain people on forums will still call me a liar. My waist in this shot could take a diamante necklace, which is what I was wearing around it when I danced. I loved that tangerine costume. I made it myself. Even the veil. It was such a lovely shade of orange.
I had a proper Victorian corset I used to wear occasionally around this time. I could lace to 18 inches. That caused a stir when I went out but I could hardly breathe and eating was out of the question!!
