I'm fairly sure that a portion of these sightings are not explainable by mundane means. Whether that means aliens, metaphysical phenomena or something we can't even think of I don't know. Personally I think the only thing governments are covering up is they're as baffled as everyone else.

We can't be the only planet in infinity that is inhabited by an intelligent!! life force.

But I suspect if any aliens were clever enough to find us, make appropriate machinery to reach us, then watch us.....they would also be clever enough to at best communicate with us at worst get rid of us.
