Sad that any woman should be made to feel they are not good enough, pretty enough, clever enough to aim high.
But if she is looking for a millionaire and feels other men re beneath her.....serves her right.
Putting down on paper...or online, what you want in a man is very different to actually going out into the real world and picking a mate.
Don't these people, and men are included, ever equate actual feelings into the equation?

It seems not.

If men are just looking for arm candy and women are looking for money....no wonder relationships don't seem to last long nowadays.
Online dating has a lot to answer for.
Z-list celebrity and reality 'culture' has a lot to do with it as well, many of them are 'in love' with someone one day and with someone else the next week, at least it keeps them in the tabloids (which is the point of course).

When I initially watched that I was like...who the hell does he think he is. But this woman is symptomatic of the delusion of a whole generation. There's nothing wrong with aiming high, but when you seek a relationship that hinges entirely on how much that person earns or can give you, then you're on a sticky wicket. This guy is right....most men on 6 figure wages don't want a middle aged woman with a kid by someone else who's pretty ordinary looking. I certainly, even at the height of my youth, wouldn't have sought a partner on those terms. And I also think a lot of the problem is social media, and the enduring delusion that false eyelashes, fake tits, hair extensions, veneers, etc makes a woman beautiful. There's a fine line between enhancing your looks with make up, and defacing yourself. I know if I was a bloke, I'd want a woman to be as natural as possible. Not be like a kind of cosmetically enhanced Robocop.
There's a whole trend right now of having a full set of crowns on your teeth. Young people having this done just for that super white smile. Dentists are warning that if you have this done you'll end up with dentures by the time you're 40.
Katie Price is the generic look that seems to be doing the rounds with a lot of young women. That fake tits/tan/teeth look along with the hair extensions and uber thick brows. It think she looks ghastly.

I know round about the time I met my OH...(I called for a cab and in he came) I was also being 'pursued' by a rich and successful in business bloke whos intentions I am pretty sure were honourable.
I wasn't looking for money and though I'm sure he could have had plenty air headed dolly birds that wasn't what he was looking for either.
Surely even today most people ideally though are still looking for love in a partner, not simply someone who makes them look better or elevates their own status in life, ...it's shallow and probably doomed from the off.

People are making money out of this. We are living in a world where everyone is bombarded with advertising. We are living in a world where children are directly got at by the advertisers through television, reality shows, film and social media. What purports to be news is no longer news but carefully selected narrative. Compare the reporting style nowadays that of yesteryear. Culture has been attacked. Society fragmented. Difference attacked. Words made meaningless. George Orwell saw this all coming.

When you're young you do put more emphasis on looks, but would you go for a bloke living in a bedsit with a cupboard full of pot noodles?

That's what you did when I offered you a Pot Noodle in the morning to regain your strength.
