I would really hope that every single one of these nominees is worthy of a Bafta but sadly I am highly suspicious of virtue signalling much like all the other award shows and film festivals like the Golden Globes/Oscars now.
Is it the truly strength of some of their performances or the colour of their skin or their gender that is now taken into account?
If it is then that is wrong - everyone should start from and equal footing no matter who they are (including white actors and directors).
A highly controversial view I know in today's febrile woke climate - I will probably be accused of being a 'racist' (currently the most overused word in the English language).
So after the Grammys does anyone have anything to say?
Those two semi naked 'ladies' spreading there legs and gyrating all over the place seem to have won universal acclaim for their 'performance' (which is the right word) in the media, no idea why reading the obscene lyrics of that repulsive song WAP.
How exactly does that shit 'empower' women and what would the children watching think of that dross?
