The latest Grammy Awards has been slated for allowing highly sexual performances to take place as part of it's entertainment when young kids are watching.   CBS has been slammed by critics for it's hypocrisy.  Twitter is awash with comments as usual.

 

'So we're canceling children's books but we're letting our kids watch filth like Cardi B and her WAP at the Grammys? Yes little girls, feminism means you can be anything!

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's dance routine for their song WAP contained x-rated pole-dancing by the pair, leading to criticism online and one anti-porn group labeling the performance 'hardcore' porn.

The dueling rappers left little to the imagination in their ode to female anatomy, marking the first time they've performed the hit live.

Carlson wasn't the only one to take offense at the routine with an anti-porn group saying the show contributed to the sexual exploitation of women' and the 'normalization' of porn culture.

Teaching morals went out the window some time back.

Giving 5 year olds sex education is coming from the trendy people and it will probably happen under what they call The All About Me teaching programme.

When I was a kid we were taught all about respecting others not all about me.

Incredible and repulsive, those lyrics are beyond belief!

So they think this is entertainment?

Does anyone really think if this genre of music was begun by anyone other than African Americans (or 'N***s' or Bitches as they like to call each other) from gangland areas it would have been accepted?

Do me a favour - they would have been arrested for promoting murder/GBH and rape/sexual violence not to mention racism. bored

I don't think a performance or a song like that should be allowed at the Grammys....like you say, kids watch it because they want to see Taylor Swift and Harry Styles.

I wouldn't ban this type of music, but I certainly don't think a mainstream channel should be mixing it in with music aimed to young kids.

 Well that's the BBC for you.

I am getting tired of the words 'diversity' and 'inclusive' in every bloody award show now.

Such awards should be won on merit not the colour of one's skin - discrimination works both ways.

Oh and the two 'ladies' above are now claiming 'racism' - what a surprise.

 Those two women CardiB and Megan Thee Stallion are receiving a lot of criticism but not by the progressive mainstream media and not by progressive industries: so they are celebrated by the BBC, CNN, much of the music industry, much of the film industry, by progressives in universities.    However, conservative media and many parts of social media are criticising them.    Criticism of them is often presented as being due to racism, sexism, old people stuck in their old non-progressive ways.

It's the mainstream media not me.

Everything is framed with race today, the slightest criticism of any black/ethnic performer, singer or athlete is instantly labelled racist - it should stop.

The George Floyd incident was terrible (but he was hardly the saint he is now portrayed as) but seems to have begun a juggernaut that will never end as MD's post proves.
