 Over the years, on various forums, there have been several people, more female than male ime, who become mods/admin, or curry favour with site owners, just so they will hold what they see, as a bit of 'power' on a two bit forum.

Maybe they feel out of control in their real lives, or maybe they are just mini despots who have found an outlet to stomp around barking orders....either way, it's pretty laughable.

 Yeah, he's admitted it before. Like many people on the spectrum he is very intelligent in certain fields. And absolutely fixated on order and such. He's also admitted he can't drive because of his vision. Sports were out of reach for him, as are girls I imagine. I started ignoring him because I said something about his child like behavior after he posted something about 20 times. 

 

Stoo told me I shouldn't do that, and how he has raised a child with the same condition. 

 

That's when I told Stoo I'd just leave him be for the foreseeable future. I told Stoo he and Hobbit can converse with him. 

 

Of course now I've told the three of them to talk to each other.

 If stooo, really did bring up a child like that. Then he should really remove CJ from the forum for his safety and mental health. Stooo's first instinct should be to protect a vulnerable person, and not use them to generate posts

 I have no idea who the man in question is, or how autistic he is, how able he is to communicate on a forum like Dogs.

If he is happy there, can hold his own, and mods/admin ensure he isn't bullied, I dont see why people who are on the spectrum should be denied access to a debate forum....even one like Dogs.

 He's been around since the SOL days. He's very bright, has a government job and can hold is own just fine.  He's just an asshole, who's not very happy and can lash out at others, if you have a different opinion. 

He has Rags on block, he calls me a racist and an idiot about every other day. Jack he calls a drug addicted loser. 

Forums probably fill a void in his life as they really don't require people skills. It's a constant debate process with him. He doesn't care about your life. He doesn't care if you're happy. He wants to know what you feel about a topic and he wants to challenge you and prove his superior intellect and that his position is the correct and logical one.

Sounds like quite a few posters to me.

 

I can remember Cactus Jack from SOL.

He was constantly banned and kept opening new accounts, he said he sued a SOL mod and won damages and the Mod in question went to jail.

There was a scandal about him years ago, rather risque it was.

I don't remember him ever claiming to be on the spectrum.

 I think you're right. He's just nasty when he does it. It's why he gets a ban now and then 

Most posters start to shy away from folks like that.  

I'm not most posters. I help him get a ban.  

But he's safe from the mean old Maddog for awhile.  I'll let Stoo and Hobbit talk to him.

I really have to reply to that Syl. Cactus Jack is not a victim, and he's not bullied either. Being "on the spectrum" is not an excuse to lie and abuse people.
