Maybe the babys grandparents were as useless as her parents.
Someone has to intervene when a child is being badly neglected, and in the UK it's social services.
A bigger picture does emerge though. Why did neighbours not respond to a baby crying? They lived in a flat with close neighbours FGS, why did no one notice she hadn't been seen for days?
Why dont people notice what's going on under their noses ?
Probably because if it's not played out on social media they are not interested.
Maybe they all think it's up to social services as well. It just goes to show though that you can't depend on SS. Or maybe it's because the SS are overwhelmed by people not taking responsibility for their own lives and wait for others to pick up the pieces.
The real problem is when you have generation after generation of uneducated school dropouts breeding. Because the more sprogs you have the more benefits you can claim.

If people could manage their own lives there would be no need for social workers.

The breakdown in families seems to be worse now than it ever was. This kid would have been 15 when she became pregnant, a kid bringing up a kid, and it's ended up in a horrible tragedy.

She wasn't 15 when she left the kid alone for six days. She would know herself by her own hunger that you can't go several hours without being hungry. She left that baby alone to die and there's no excusing her.

She could have picked up a phone and called Her parents/his parents/ the grandparents/Police or SS at any time during her time partying. She didn't

My 13 year old either gets me to make himself something to eat or he will make it himself when he gets hungry. So as I said she knew leaving the child alone she would soon need feeding

Regarding never having enough money for social services - the BBC have a front page news article today complaining that there isn't enough money to support trans gender children. They ran a story about an NHS clinic or small hospital dedicated to giving support to trans gender children and complaining it was underfunded, understaffed and that they were overwhelmed by the number of cases they were receiving.

You're not very good at engaging with what is written and developing arguments. I don't know what school you went to but pulling out your dick and pleasuring yourself is not an argument. In the scheme of things school education (state education) is a fairly recent phenomenon.

You mustn't have any children then. Because any parent on here will tell you they didn't have a clue when they had their first child, You learn on the job and being bought up decently you knew you had to do your best. Even to this day and my kids are now preteens. Every day is a challenge on doing the right thing. You suddenly realise that you are the one thing you said you'd never be. And that is exactly like your parents.

Taking care of a child is basic. You need to feed it/wash it. but most importantly you need to love the child.

I don't think any new mother forgets the first day they are home from hospital with their newborn. That life depends on them and them alone....it's overwhelming, but thankfully, the majority of women who give birth has something called maternal instinct.
Caring can be taught, maternal instinct is natural.
