"A member of the Rochdale grooming gang has been pictured in the town, six years after being told he would be deported.

Qari Abdul Rauf, now 51, was one of nine men sentenced in 2012 for a catalogue of serious sex offences against vulnerable victims in Rochdale and Heywood.

Taxi driver and Muslim preacher Abdul Rauf, 51, was convicted of trafficking and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child.

The court heard how the father-of-five trafficked a 15-year-old girl for sex, driving her to secluded areas to have sex with her in his taxi and ferry her to a flat in Rochdale where he and others had sex with her.

He was jailed for six years, however, he was released in November 2014 after serving two years and six months of his sentence.

In July 2015, The Home Office began the process of removing Rauf's British citizenship and those of two other men convicted alongside him - Adil Khan, 51 and Abdul Aziz, 50 - who all had dual UK-Pakistani citizenship, in order to pave the way for their deportation.

The trio challenged the move, saying it breached their human rights and the rights of their children.

They lost their case at the Court of Appeal in August 2018.

However in July last year the Manchester Evening News reported that it was believed they remained in Rochdale, with one terrified victim having bumped into her freed abuser Khan while shopping in Asda.

And in pictures published by The Sun today, Rauf has been reportedly captured on camera shopping in the town."

It simply unbelievable.

Here two and a half years for destroying all of those young girls lives and he and the other bastards are still here.

In any other 'community' they would be ostracised or violently driven out by their neighbours - not parading around the town with their families (the wives must be so proud or rather they are far too frightened to leave the scumbags because they would be tracked down or killed).

Then again Islam does not exactly have the best track record over women's rights does it?

Many of them have still hold the view from the primitive tribal areas of Pakistan that females are little more than beasts of burden.

Best not say that though - it would be 'Islamophobic.'

 It's time sentencing rules were overhauled. If someone gets 6 years that's what they should serve...minimum.

The fact he only got six years (and served less than half) is a testament to how out of touch these judges and parole boards often are.

He and the other sick bastards should be serving 15-20 years minimum and then immediately deported, but of course that would be Islamophobic and a breach of their human rights as 'family men'.
