 Elton looks like someone's daft grandad, the way he keeps getting unsteadily to his feet for a dance around...he is obviously having the tone of his life.

She is great...I had never heard of her before this record came out.

 Don't knock the radio...it's been around longer than any of the modern stuff that comes then goes out of fashion as quickly.

Tapes, video recorders, CD players, all almost defunct now...the good old radio is here to stay.

 Don't knock the radio...it's been around longer than any of the modern stuff that comes then goes out of fashion as quickly.

Tapes, video recorders, CD players, all almost defunct now...the good old radio is here to stay.

 No doubt   But the device im replying to you with has about 100 bazillion songs accessible at my fingertips..

 

I still listen to the radio about 20% of the time in the car because it exposes me to new music and keeps me informed about events and news..

Ahhh....so you listen to the radio about as much as I do.
I like discussions, phone ins, and of course music.

 Do newer cars have CD players? Mine doesn't. I thought I read they were no longer even an option..

 

I don't think I've even seen a CD in 10 years..

 

I plug in my phone and I have a few hundred thousand songs at my fingertips..

 

I especially like discovering new artists (new to me). I can then play their most streamed songs.
