Exactly and let's face it (although not fashionable to say in today's climate) few countries have given more to the world than the UK.

Maybe if GB hadn't so much to the world as you dumbly put it. You wouldn't have all the commonwealth immigrants in the UK. You really think colonization of countries (many of which still live in third world conditions after British brutality) was a benefit to the world?

A typical response from a NF member.

NF?

Oh do fuck off you moron - your desperate anonymous woke virtue signalling does not mean jack shit to me.

Slavery was (and still is) practiced in Africa for millennia and always has been - not that you ever hear about it - that would be regarded as 'racist'.

Of all the Empires judged by the standards of the time we were the finest.

What do you think about Sati - a lovely 'cultural' practice?

Have you never heard of Wilberforce?

Which empire enforced the abolition of slavery throughout the world due to their Naval and moral power?

A little clue - it was not the US which is why BLM  means fuck all here, we are the most inclusive nation on earth.

Nearly every country in the world has been 'colonised' at some point.   We can all agree when we look back 200 years with our 21st century mindsets and ethics, that colonialism wasn't ideal.  But it did have its good points.  It ended slavery.   Britain’s decision to abolish the international slave trade in 1807 and outlaw it throughout its overseas territories in 1833 is now, quite rightly, seen as one of the important acts ever undertaken by the British Empire.   It ended suttee.   The British Empire was the only belligerent to fight the entirety of the Second World War, and troops from Britain and its empire was a vital in the Allied war machine.   And if not for the British Empire, there would be no ethnic diversity in this land, and generations from the colonies would have been denied a better life and a new start here.

What do posters think of this?

Genuine grievance or just jumping on the BLM bandwagon for financial gain?

I know what I think.

If my cells had been used to help save countless lives over most of a century I would have been totally delighted.

What a legacy it would be.

I think the fact that they were "taken without consent" is at the bottom of this.

It's disgusting that they just took them. How many other women's eggs were taken and they have no idea.

Not only Black Lives Matter but now Black Lives Trans Matter.

Does the horrific Homophobia/Trans hatred exist in more in the black/ Islamic 'community' both in the US and here with their Gang/Terror Culture than the ordinary bloke in the street?

Nope or is that racist?

There are so many different PC media stories right now so look it up for yourself.

I wonder what my  grandparents who went to war at 18 and have now passed would make of this Woke World.

It just makes me despair.

Well Dave should carry on with the jokes - I would hate to be a comedian today you can't say anything about anyone without some group or other organising a mass protest and destroying their career.

They should play this and give them all a heart attack. lol

Some of our best humour was piss taking, and we just don't have the writers now. Too many are afraid of offending the few, so it's taking all the joy out of life and censoring our viewing.

Exactly.

Can you imagine the fake outrage if IAHHM was ever shown on telly again as Perry and Croft dearly wanted before they died?

the Upper Middle Class Woke controlled BBC will certainly never do so.

Bunch of Poofs!

Let's face it if he had not been forced to apologise his entire career would have been in ruins.

It should be a choice to take the knee not forced on people all the bloody time.

'Taking the knee' should be a personal choice.
Forcing people to do so is encouraging the oppression that the BLM movement is so strongly against.

I'm waiting for someone to stand on their head during the national anthem. Just to be a rebel.
