When will it end?

Soon no one in any job will be able to have a bit of friendly banter for fear of the thought police getting them the boot that someone from the Borg/Woke Collective deems 'offensive'.

I wish they would all fuck off and let common sense return.

Because we are nothing like the US, we were the ones who stopped African slavery (including the African nations who sold their own people for centuries like Benin whose main export was slaves) and we are one of the most inclusive nations on earth.

Ever since the murder of Floyd every second story on the news is about someone somewhere claiming 'racism' - it's a bandwagon that will never end much like 'Islamophobia' is spouted so much (usually after a terror attack or another Pakistani Muslim rape gang is prosecuted).

I and no one I know is a racist and yet in the media you would think every white person is a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

I am not taking the knee for something which has nothing to do with me - politics does not belong in sport either.

I agree with you, politics and sport shouldn't be mixed.

'Taking the knee' sounds as ridiculous as it looks.

It certainly is ridiculous (although nobody dares to say that in public).

I also went right off Joshua when he was spouting a load of shit at a BLM rally telling everyone there to only frequent black owned businesses and shops, if and when the fight ever happens I will be 100% behind Fury and expect him to win.

Oh and this is good! lol

Taking the knee bored is a showy pc fad, that will stop soon enough now the jeers and boos at football matches make it known it's inappropriate.

I don't think it will, I think it here to stay and anyone refusing to do so in a team sport will be castigated.

After all it's been over a year and Floyd's killer has been convicted - not that that had anything to do with us in the first place Syl.

I sincerely hope there will be no comebacks for anyone refusing to 'take the knee', that would be going against what the act supposedly stands for...discrimination.

If people want to do it, for whatever reason, let them get on with it, it's a free country. If people find it showy and unnecessary, they should have every right to stand there quietly and let others get down on the floor.

If the football organisations want to actually do something worthwhile...they should spend their energies doing more to turf out racist hecklers and ban them from future matches.

People are already bored with it.   It served it's purpose and was initially powerful.  But if you overuse a thing it loses that power and impact and then becomes a tedious cliche.

It's virtue signalling of the worst sort.

Patel is spot on here - good for her.

Don't get me started on cops kneeling! This has gone on too long and has now lost its effect. Enough now.

The pics of cops washing the feet of black people last year was utterly cringe worthy.

The new police chief of Greater Manchester ( he replaced the old one who 'resigned' after it was found that many thousands of reported crimes, some very serious, had not even been logged) has publicly said that he will NOT be taking the knee to anyone whilst in uniform, he will be getting on with catching criminals.
Good for him.
