Always moving because of the poor men who fought and died.
I felt though Charles was near tears, as was Camilla and Sophie, William pressed his.lips together. This I felt was much more than the Remembrance, it felt personal. I fear the queen, who has never missed this event, is more ill than they are making out.. She wouldn't have missed anything because of her back. Sadly I feel the queen is on her way out if not gone already. I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

There’s been rumours she’s dead already, no truth in it though…. but the poor sod must feel like she is at 95 anyway…. who’d wanna be getting all dressed up and under pressure to perform with all the pomp and ceremony at her age?…. stick ya feet up and watch it on telly Queenie, along with ya favourite tipple!
Yesterday it was announced she would be attending, so whatever stopped her must have been a recent thing.
I agree with Poca, the lady is 95, even getting ready for a big event is a big chore at that age.

I said today as me and OH watched it, that the Queen hasn't sprained her back.
Why would he be, he has opted out of his royal duties.
I thought William looked very handsome, the royal family must be proud of the way he and Kate take their duties seriously.
Yeah but as a military man (as much as the Royals can be and we all know how protected they are in combat missions) surely he should have paid his respects?

He probably paid his respects privately.
I doubt anyone expected him to be here.
It is a shame though.
Mind you the press will soon be back to worshipping reality stars.

It is good to see the UK can still organise and televise events like this.
We let so many traditions lapse, it's important that remembrance sunday is still honoured.

It is Syl.
Let's hope it always will be.

No one wants him there. He betrayed his country, slagged off the queen and family, and cried over diana, then threw her under a bus for Netflix for his 30 pieces of silver! Greedy git! He can do one the traitor! Despise the man and his greedy wife!
Hopefully the queen will still be well enough to enjoy her platinum jubilee next year.
The worse thing that could possibly happen, is not that she dies, she is of an age where death is expected, and she has lived a very long and healthy life.
Hopefully she doesn't end up with dementia, something that devastates not only the person but the whole family.
That would be the biggest tragedy of all for such a woman.

Yes it would be. If I have that booked in for me when I'm old, I hope i die before.
It's a devastating illness, as me and you both know Syl x

I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
It's not only a living death for the sufferer, it affects everyone who loves or cares for that person.

I reckon she'd have had dementia by now if she was going to get it. At her age, I'm not sure it'll happen.

My mum was in her 90's before she really started showing signs, so who knows.
There was something recently that struck me as odd.
In a line up she said to someone...'I saw you on the telly the other night' , and the way she said it, so unlike her I thought...she actually reminded me of my mum.
