I firmly believe white feathers are sent to us by our special loved ones who have died.
They give us hope and comfort when we most need it.
I have found them in a coat pocket and in my handbag, no idea how they got there.
Your brain stops functioning and that's it, absolute zero for eternity.
The only afterlife is living on in the memories of those who have known them, even if it's just one person.
Even if that is true, memories are very powerful thing to have, so if we live on in people's memories, we are, in a way, still with them as much as if we were sat watching them.
I've told you all about the fish in Greece, haven't I? I think I even posted the photo on here somewhere. We were on holiday and I was messing around in the sea, and asked one of my dead loved ones to bring me a fish...thinking of course that there are plenty of fish in the sea. Nothing happened and no fish came. So I went and lay down on the beach and ten minutes later my husband woke me up and said...."Have you seen that fucking big fish shaped cloud in the sky?" And there it was. The ONLY cloud in the sky and it was shaped like a massive fish...eyes, fins, gills the lot. I took out my camera and snapped it just as it was starting to break up. Even my husband was aghast when I told him what I'd asked for.

What a surprise you will get when you pass over then
Well if I am right nobody will know, if you are right Mags then surprise would be the understatement of the century for a 'Four Horseman' type like myself (Hitchens, Dawkins, Harris and Dennett)!

From a pillow maybe?
They were big white feathers though, not like the little ones that pillows and cushions get stuffed with.

I remember you posting of the fish cloud before.
Years ago I was swimming in Israel, we were in an area where Dolphins are often seen, they are wild dolphins, but they are very used to people because the area is such a tourist attraction.
I was swimming around all day, willing one to show, eventually I gave up, was swimming back to shore, and suddenly two dolphins, one either side of me, just appeared, no sound, no splashing, just gliding along slowly next to me whilst I swam back...I didn't imagine it because other people saw them too...then they dived down and swam back into the deep water.
I honestly felt so blessed, it's still one of the best events in my life.

It was, something I relive a lot. We went back there a couple of years later, and it was still as magical.
So very lucky, I'd love to do that x
Well you could Mags.
When travel is back to normal, I will pm you with all the details of how to get there if you like.
I always promised myself I would take my grandson back there so he could try diving and snorkelling, but he doesn't have the same love for dolphins I have, so I doubt I will go back.
