It can be.
We can have 4 seasons in one day.
Although summer is pretty much what you described. Hot and humid..
just read about that dreadful shooting in Texas. Hope you and yours are all OK and not affected.
It's hundreds of miles away. I don't know anyone there.
Still trying to wrap my head around the depravity.
How do you get that damaged emotionally that you can do that?
We're getting bits and pieces about the shooter. Dysfunctional family for sure, but it's still hard to figure out how he got to a place so dark.
Says in the papers that he was bullied for being poor and being a bit odd. Typical loner type.
Apparently he was a cutter too.
Cut his own face.
Grandpa and grandma did the best they could with such damaged goods. They didn't know he had the guns (Grandpa is a felon and can't have them in his house).
Might see a push to raise the age to 21. Seems a lot of these shooters are under 21, but pass the back ground checks.
Alcohol and cigarettes are already 21.
To be honest, I'd be fine with raising basically everything including military service and voting to 21.
Odd that in the UK news, including the BBC, no mention has been made of the Grandma, which seems to be where his origional argument began.
Poor woman.
"Salvador Ramos, who stands accused of perpetrating the most deadly US school shooting since the Sandy Hook Elementary School attack 10 years ago, reportedly shot his grandmother in the face after a fight about his failure to graduate from Uvalde Elementary School.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Texas Gov Greg Abbott said that Ramos sent three Facebook messages on Tuesday morning prior to his attack on Uvalde Elementary School. The first, which said, “I’m going to shoot my grandmother,” was followed by another message shortly thereafter in which he wrote, “I shot my grandmother.”Mr Ramos’ grandmother is reportedly in critical condition.
According to reporting from John Mone of Newsy, a neighbor of Ramos’ named Eduardo Trinidad said that Ramos was angry that he was not graduating from high school and got into an arguement with his grandmother the morning of the shooting.
Ramos’ grandmother was in critical condition as of Wednesday morning after being transported to a hospital in San Antonio."

How do they even get into the schools these days , so much security and even metal detectors on the doors.
He shot his way in. Police engaged him and he wounded them and got in. Then, because many classrooms have some very stout doors to keep people out, he could barricade himself in behind one
There's a lot of questions flying around now. How did a dumb kid who had zero training defeat cops at the initial gun battle, and why did it take 90 minutes to kill him?
There's some heartbreaking video of parents outside that school begging for the cops to go in, or to let them go in themselves. Although, it's not really known when in the timeline that video was taken.
Unfortunately, if a child was killed, they were part.of a crime scene and they would lay there for a few hours until they could.be moved to another location to be identified by parents.
A task that's probably unparalleled in terms of emotional pain.
The husband of one of the teachers murdered in the shooting has died of a heart attack.
Joe Garcia was the husband of Imra Garcia who had taught at the school for 23 years.
The couple had been married for 24 years and had four children.
An online fundraiser was set up yesterday with the initial aim of raising $10,000. It's so far raised $1,683,870

So incredibly sad.
Those four children are now orphans, a double tragedy in so short a time.

Life can be so cruel. One minute things are OK, and the next your whole life can be turned inside out.
Can you imagine dropping your kiddies off at school, and they never return home again.
It's absolutely heartbreaking.
I couldn't watch the news when the parents were outside not knowing what had happened....all because one kid lost it, and had easy access to guns.
