… and as an aside, did anyone else get a bit teary-eyed watching those Ukrainian lads giving it their all onstage?

I mean, I know the song was crappy (imo). But that’s not the point…have to admit, they got to me cry

Syl talking about eating her hat reminded me of a scene in 'Way Out West' when Ollie reminds Stan he would eat his hat if they didn't get the deed.

Needless to say it backfired on Ollie!!

🇺🇦🇬🇧 It has just been announced...The United Kingdom will host the contest in 2023!!

Ukraine won but because of the war are unable to host it, so 2nd placed UK will do the honours instead!!

Manchester and Glasgow are the two favourite UK cities being mentioned.

Marvellous!! 🇬🇧🇺🇦

Seven cities were bidding to host next year's competition because the winners Ukraine can't host it and...

Manchester

Birmingham

Newcastle

Sheffield

Leeds

Have all been eliminated and now Glasgow and Liverpool will fight it out!!

We're playing them tonight in a very important football game.

We did an excellent job of the Commonwealth games back in 2014, i thought the Scotty dogs were a nice touch.

Maybe use them again, but biker jackets instead of posh coats for a rock and roll feel.
