I do, but being able to handle this crap is much different than wanting any part of it.
I don't think many enjoy these really cold spells. God knows how people who have no heating, and God forbid, no homes, cope.
We are basking in temps up to 9c today....it's not going to last though.
No white Christmas forecast here, though Vita may see a bit of snow, she is in Scotland.
Think about folks that live in Alaska or Siberia.
Those areas have had people living there for thousands of years. I wonder if they didn't know until recently that the weather is a whole lot better if they move south..

Our weather isn't bad compared to many places.
We don't normally get extremes, and if we were a drier country, we wouldn't have all the beautiful lush countryside that we have.
Just come back from one of the canary isles....lovely weather, brown and arid land.....nowhere has it all.
I saw them pulling a sleigh not for from here years ago.
Loads of Children about 3-4 years old were lined up and down the street waiting for Santa and the look of sheer innocence and joy on their faces when they saw him, nearly had me greeting.

I don't think you have to move far to see differences in the way some things are described.
Various districts around Manchester use different words to describe things. For eg, balm cakes can be tea cakes,or bunnies, or just bread rolls.
