That is going to suck. We all have AC here in Texas..
Those sort of temps are deadly to people not acclimated or prepared for them..
Especially Scottish people, we are not used to the heat and a lot of us are peely-wally.
I'm concerned about my father, my mother has the sense to stay in the shade but my father was out in the garden yesterday cutting the grass, wielding a sledge hammer and digging.
He'll be 82 in three weeks and will not listen to advice.

All that hard work keeps him fit.
But yeah, get him out of the sun when it gets that hot..
And drink lots of water..
The biggest problem with heat is people don't drink enough water. They drink nothing, or stuff that dehydrates. Like coffee, sodas or beer.
Once you get dehydrated, you can catch heat stroke and die.

My dad would do that, a nice fans cans of cold lager instead of water, I'm going to have another word with him.
He didn't retire until he was 70 and that was only under protest, he would still be there if they let him.
Heavy going work as well in the Steelworks, had a few bad accidents in his time.
Fell about 6ft once and landed on his head, it was a miracle he didn't die.

A lager is good when you're done in the sun. Won't do shit for you when you're sweating your ass off..

You and Vita are the main culprits. I've just had to resize some more. It plays havoc with the screen for me, so must be the same for others. When you upload, you double click on the image at the top corners until it turns blue, then you can drag and resize.

Weather warnings in place for Scotland next week as well, Monday and Tuesday are going to roast the arse off you.
We aren't accustomed to the heat, it comes from living in a country that rains a lot.
We'll just have to stay in the shade.
I can mind years ago having to go to A&E because i'd hurt my finger and three dopey cows came in roaring and greeting looking like lobsters because they'd been lying out in the sun and got badly burned.
I had no sympathy for them.
Anyway...i have my shorts, suncream, fans, icepoles ,Daisy's cooling mat and Daisy's suncream so will hopefully be fine.
