 We're looking for how many animals are going to the river, the elephants are a trick because it only says they are going towards the river, not to it.

Some people argue that the answer I've given isn't correct because birds aren't animals others argue it's actually as many as 82.

They say was it three distinctive monkey's or did the elephants see three each, which would mean 27 monkey's, and 54 birds.

Some argue to and toward are the same thing others say that it's not.

Probably several weeks if they have to order in the materials for 100 dolls.   Unless these are magic elves who can magic up the materials.  However if that were the case they should be able to magic up the dolls in an instant.

So, no matter how many elves there are, they must surely only take 5 minutes each to make a doll.

That's assuming that they all work at the same rate of course.
