I wonder how long charles will be on the throne. I know they have a long life span from doing fuck all and having a doctor check the daily. But he is 73 all the same. I'd say 5 to 10 years I can't see his funeral being as big tbh. He'll never be as well liked as as the queen he has an edge to him.
The monarchy is fast becoming a thing of the past. They are seen as to opulent living in castles with a 1000 rooms and another with 750. Nevermind all the other residences they own while their subjects sleep rough or worry about paying their bills. None of it earned most of it stolen. I wonder if that diamond in the crown will be returned
They made good dogs for the queens household...she has huge land mass where they can run and exercise.
Not so clever to have them in an average 3 up 2 down though.
The queen also owned Labradors and gun dogs too....I think she just loved dogs, and obviously horses.
Our dog came into the living room the other night with a washing up sponge in his mouth. He stood in the doorway eyeballing me until I stood up screaming DROP IT! Then he ran off into the back garden with me in pursuit wearing only tee shirt and flip flops. It was 2am and fucking freezing! The little bastard only dropped it when I got the garden hose out.

That dog wouldn't be worth a shit in a duck blind. 😉
Corgis have such lovely little faces. But by all accounts they are snappy little fuckers.
They're herding dogs. Nipping is in their genes..
I would imagine that many of their issues are that they are the kind of dog that people who can't train dogs, would own. Because they are cute..
Also, as herding dogs, they make shitty lap dogs and will cause trouble when bored. They will need jobs to do..
Corgis are amazing dogs very fast learners and very funny. Mine never nipped anyone, apparently, according to all the royal family and staff, the royal dogs are just not trained and they piss and shit where they like and are snappy. Probably bored. Mine loved to learn new things
Of 110 breeds ranked on the basis of intelligence, the Pembroke Welsh corgi took 11th place.

I love dogs and horses too. Yes she did love them dearly, especially her corgis.I
Now, it's all coming out that Prince Andrew and Princess Diana worked in cahoots to try to knock Charles out of the succession.
Remember when Fergie got caught having her toes sucked? Allegedly, it was Diana who snitched on her and called the press telling them where Fergie was. The two fell out after Fergie wrote a book and recalled catching a verruca from Diana's shoes. Diana never spoke to her again.
Diana, it seems, held terrible grudges, and so did her brother, Charles. They were both vile to their father when their mother left him and he had the temerity to marry another woman. Her former private secretary, Patrick Jephson, relates she was utterly ruthless to her staff to the point she wanted some sacked and banished from Kensington Palace. I think she was caught in a trap partly of her own making. She learned too late that newspaper and the media have no off switch.
I dont believe there was anything between Diana and Andrew, though many people in their social group thought they would have made a better match than the stuffy, older brother she fell for, who unfortunately was always emotionally and physically involved with Camilla.
Don't you think a lot of these stories were made up, either to denigrate her, or Charles, depending on whose 'camp' you were in?
What cant be made up is when one or the other is talking straight to camera...as Diana did on quite a few occasions.
She admitted herself she was horrible to her stepmother, her and her brother especially, but they were young, their mother had left, and they felt Raine was taking their father from them.
In adulthood, they became much closer, so obviously Raine didn't carry on the battle...and Diana admitted she was wrong.

It's not been suggested that they had a thing together. Diana was hell bent on revenge, so if aiding Andrew boot him off the throne would do that?
I guess there are those who go in bias against either of them, but I don't think they lie necessarily. Diana herself was caught lying a good few times when people who were witness to certain events claim differently or that she was prone to exaggeration. She spent five years with Hewitt, claimed she adored him, loved him to distraction, then dumped him via her aides. Completely cut him dead. The reason? He wouldn't give up his career for her. He was devastated and suicidal. Then he went on to spill the beans to the press, which, in the light of what Diana herself did regarding Charles, you can't blame him.
Some say that Diana felt betrayed and abandoned, but why should someone have to give up their career for another? She didn't want to give up her lifestyle.
Mags wondered if Diana and Andrew had been involved.
Didn't Hewitt claim he had felt suicidal after it was made public he tried to flog her letters to the highest bidder...a good deflection when exposed as a love rat.
He has also cooperated in writing a couple of books about their affair, not to mention given loads of interviews.
Suicidal....I doubt it.
