It should be, in your country anyway.

To be honest, that event set off so many reactions, that we are still processing it all. It changed millions of lives the world over.

The one thing we all agree on over here, is that the victims were innocent, their rescuers heroic, and neither group deserved what they got.

I've never even been to NYC.

I've never really had much desire.

When I have free time to travel, it's usually to less populated areas..

I prefer quieter place too Madders.

That's one of the reasons i've never been to London, too busy.

There's the same number of people there as there is in the whole of Scotland but at least here we're spread out.

I live amongst millions of people. Been to numerous large cities besides Dallas. Three of the largest in the US are in Texas. Also been to Chicago, Denver, San Diego, New Orleans.

I don't know what NYC would offer me. I'm not into many of the arts, so I just don't really see the point.

 Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas..

I'm self employed so I take very few days off in a row.

I think going to Europe would be cool, but not something to be done in 4 or 5 days.

Maybe when I'm 80 and I retire.

Just got off the phone with daughter #2. Oddly enough she is going to NYC for a Bachelorette party this weekend.

Now that kid has been to quite a few places. Several times more than dear old dad.

Dont wait till you are 80, and you would definately need more than 4 or 5 days to explore Europe.

I drove right by there today.

I've been to Memphis, but never Graceland.

Disney World costs an American family with a couple of kids 5 grand easy for about 3 days.

No thanks.

 That's extortionate Madders!!

I was in shock at the prices at Heads Of Ayr Farmpark, £6 for a baby!!

Some of them were sound asleep but their parents still had to cough up to wheel them round.

Are dogs free or do you have to pay for them as well?

It's really put people of moderate means in a rough spot. You have 2.3 kids wanting to go, and parents trying to scrape together thousands of dollars to make it happen for their kids.

Thankfully I convinced my kids that Disneyworld wasn't any better than our local amusement parks and going to Florida for the same thing was silly.

I was lying, but that's what we do as dads..😉

My mum and dad did that too.

Fairgrounds in Scotland are called "The shows" and they told my brother the amusement park was "the shows" and he was only about two and too wee to know the difference and used to have a great time and it didn't cost them a penny.

Our local place is 6 flags over Texas. It's definitely not free, but a couple of hundred a day is better than a couple of thousand.
