When I see that clip, I just think what idiot would let his dog off the lead in a park where deer are roaming.

Yeah, what a dick!…. There’s some huge stags in Richmond Park, they kinda let you know to back off if you get too close, scary buggers!…. shame one of them didn’t see the dog off… the owner too! crazy

You should never let a dog off a lead where's there's any wild animals, that's common sense.crazy

That would be a bit difficult for owners of hunting dogs, wouldn't it? 🤷‍♂️😉

People should teach their dogs good recall, or leave them on the lead.

Richmond Park ain’t designed for hunting dogs though… it’s a beauty spot to either walk, cycle or drive around to enjoy the wildlife….but there’s always one tosser and his dog! wank

It does close for 2 weeks each year for a cull…. sad, but obviously necessary to keep the deer population down!

 Seriously?

A child could have been trampled to death when the deer stampeded

The deer could have run into the nearby road in panic....which has happened in the past.

Had a stag been around it could have attacked the dog, the ownerbooyah or innocent bystanders.

I have no idea why people think this is funny...the man is a bloody idiot.

Because a bunch of deer running from a dog isn't that dangerous. It's why people the world over love this clip amd laugh at it. It's a poorly trained dog doing what most people's dogs would do, as most dogs are poorly trained.

Stags often turn on dogs. Does, cows or whatever you call them are probably more likely, as they will defend their young. Males only get upset if you mess up their chance to mate.

Deer run into roads for no reason. They don't need dogs chasing them. Hell, the stand in the road amd watch cars come straight at them.

I don't like out of control dogs either.

All I'm saying is that good owners can train a dog to behave off lead.

Obviously, the owner of Fenton isn't one of those owners..

What's funny is his reaction.   The utter despair and dread as he realises this dog is selectively deaf.  Most people with a disobedient dog can identify with this.  It's a dangerous situation but the comedy is there.

That's part of the humor. One dog chasing a squirrel isn't funny.

People can hear the desperation in his voice as his dog creates a gigantic spectacle.

For me, the sheer stupidity of the dog owner overides any comedy value.

 Stupidity can be funny.

Weren't you raised on Monty Python and Benny Hill.

They made stupidity an art form..

Fenton is a good name for a dog, it has class but his behaviour lets him down.
