She had no choice.

He used far too much force imo, you can teach a kid self defence without almost crippling them. Maybe her mum should arrange private lessons instead of relying on her bully dad to teach her.

There's a different video where she is asking him to do it. But I don't know how to post it because it's on a Facebook reel. You can tell her and dad are used to playing pretty rough.

She's fine. She had the pad and the mats. Pretty similar to a hard slide tackle in soccer.

I was rough, but I didn't do leg sweeps like that because we didn't have pads and the like.

I treated my girls exactly as I would have treated a boy. They were never treated like "princesses".

I used to tell my son never to hit a girl, till one day as I walked up to the playground I saw this kid, the same age, about 10 or 11,, whacking seven kinds of crap out of him with a big tree branch, he didn't retaliate....he just tried to get the stick off her.

From then on...I told him to defend himself properly, even if the attacker was a girl.
