It's funny, the first dry day we get here, everyone has a line full of washing...usually sheets and towels, and of course, the odd dog jacket and blanket.

I had the great idea of getting Shorty a cream blanket, completely impractical.

It's got cute dogs on it though.

Monday in the garden, washing out. Tuesday heavy rain. We got rain all week aswell.

Sat in the sun yesterday...two people have asked me today if I have been on holiday.

There is nothing like a bit of sunshine to make one look and feel so much better.

Really warm again today, so potted around the garden..hub went to cut grass, the bloody mower died. Still he got the borders done. Every cloud!

Lovely again here too.

The nights are still freezing though. We have a huge white magnolia in the garden, the stupid thing flowered again too early, got up today, and the frost has got it....lovely white flowers are now brown and withered.
