Bought chocolate bars to give to Trick or Treaters....only 2 little girls, dressed as witches came. Some years we have loads, some years hardly any, but it was pouring down tonight, all the ghouls obviously stayed in.
Lots of chocolate left over for me....every cloud.
We had a great time trick or treating, so many people decorated the front of their houses and everyone, kids and adults alike made a real effort dressing up… it was fab! …. then we went to my parents house as they did food and drinks for everyone… they’d decorated their front garden and porch, it was ace …. my Dad dressed up as Michael Myers, sat on a chair in their garden scaring the shit out of visiting kids walking up the drive! … a fun evening all around!

Poca, your dad reminds me of my OH. He once bought a horribly scary rubber mask, when the kids were knocking on the front door to trick or treat, he would creep up the side of the house and stand quietly behind them.
One little girl ran home screaming...her dad actually came round and asked if our son had scared her, he had to explain it was him.
