Weather Watch 2023...

We were promised a couple of days of sunshine, the sun came out for about half an hour this morning, then one fluffy cloud grew and grew...and we have been sat under grey skies again all afternoon.
It's now 16c in the house, and the heating will be on again in an hour.

Same as the past 5 weeks, unless you consider 2 degree fluctuations to be "different"..

I saw a flock of geese today and I always think that the truly nature wise people can maybe interpret what's going on here.
They were in the west heading west.
Does that mean it's about to get seriously hot or fucking freezing cold?

We've had 32 days above 100F.

The average is 20 days.

The record is 73. We probably won't break that, but we could easily hit 60..

Families of Canadian Geese with this years juveniles tend to move back and forth between lakes and feeding areas this time of the year.    At a local park a few families fly in the evening and then fly out again in the morning only to return the next evening.

We have had two days of lovely weather....back to gloom and doom for the next few days.
Summer 2023 is a BIG disappointment.

Tuesday I'll be breaking out the sweater.

Pray for us as we try to endure the cold spell for 24 hours.

I may head to the store and stock up on food just in case.

Well, if it doesn't cool off soon, I'll evaporate into a cloud of steam. Then I'll just get on your nerves floating by as a rain cloud ruining your day..

Heavy rain here again, it's not cold though.

I'm still wearing my shorts (around the house)
