Tomorrow we are supposed to have our first 100 degree day. We have had a relatively cool spring, but lacking in rain. May be a rough summer for the country folks that rely on a little rain, because, it doesn't rain much from now until about September.

I was out in it yesterday a nice breeze. None today and hotter, not nice.

Saturday was 31C and the loudest thunder I ever heard. Really deep sounding and as if it was three feet above my roof.

Whole house shaking.

Sat on the back door step sipping whiskey watching the light show.

31 here today...it looks like we are going to get a storm coming too....very humid, getting darker by the hour.

Wow, just as I type this, a huge clap of thunder.

tHUNDERS BACK AGAIN BUT... sounds miles away beyond the hills and it has been rolling endless thunder without a break in the noise for a good half hour. There must be endless lightning to make that possible and as I type it's getting slowly louder as it heads this way. Tomorrow is going to be really bad they reckon. Lightening blew the windows out in a chapel in Llangollen yesterday caused a brick wall where the windows blew to buckle outwards and the stone cross to fall off the apex and smash.

We just had an almighty thunderstorm.. it's definitely cleared the air, the temp has dropped about 15c in the last hour .
We still have thunder, but it's getting further away, maybe heading towards Wales as we speak.

Same here Jack...the humidity has gone, it's still raining, getting sunny again, and pleasant.

No rain here and still a little muggy but better.
