I hope this case isn't one that flitters out. It's obvious the father is responsible for this poor kids suffering, but why was the mother pushed out of her life?
She says she was only allowed to see her twice in the last four years....what sort of mother would not fight for her daughter?
I know 100% I would not leave a small girl in the hands of a Muslim father.

"Her mum Olga Sharif said Sara's behaviour then began to change after Urfan’s influence over her life increased.

She added: “I couldn’t see my daughter for four years, and now she is dead. She’s only a kid. She had done nothing wrong.”

Police were called to the property last week following a call raising concerns for Sara's welfare.

Three people officers want to speak to left the country just hours before the youngster's body was found.

All three are known to Sara and no one was present in the home when the tragic discovery was made.

Olga said she wed cabbie Urfan at a Surrey register office in November 2009, before the marriage ended in 2017.

Aside from occasional phone conversations, Olga said she was only allowed to see her children twice in four years.

She continued to be sent frequent photos of her children until 2021, when she said an argument between her and Urfan’s new partner, Beenish, meant she was cut off completely.

Olga said: "My life will never be the same again. Sara should be with me right now. She was too young."

The latest on this little girls death, it's good it's not being swept under the carpet, as so many of these Muslim related stories seem to be.

"Surrey police are treating Sara Sharif’s death, which has sparked an international manhunt, as a possible murder. Her uncle has claimed she died as the result of falling down the stairs.

While an official cause of death has not yet been confirmed, a post-mortem examination suggests she suffered ‘multiple and extensive injuries’ over a ‘sustained and extended’ period of time.

Last week, police in Pakistan raided at least 20 homes across Jhelum, 108 north-west of Lahore, in search of members of the girl’s family.

Authorities subsequently confirmed they had made ten arrests, including Sara’s grandfather and several of her uncles.

It followed after Mr Sharif and his partner Ms Batool released a video, their first public statement on the case, in which they said they were willing to cooperate with UK authorities.

Sara’s mother and Mr Sharif’s former partner, Olga Sharif, responded to the clip by saying Sara’s father is ‘making himself into the victim’ and suggesting he turn himself in."

"Sara Sharif's runaway father, stepmother and uncle have been arrested on suspicion of murder after having landed at Gatwick Airport tonight.

Urfan Sharif, 41, his partner Beinash Batool, 29, and brother Faisal Malik, 28, were arrested after disembarking a flight from Dubai and are currently in custody, Surrey Police said. They will be interviewed in due course.

Sharif and Batool went into hiding in Pakistan for a month after Sara's body was found in her home and an international manhunt was launched there and in the UK.

It does stink, and I am so glad the authorities didn't just turn the other way, because we all know that so often has happened in the past when it comes to Muslims.

The excuse they gave, that they were advised to leave the country because being Muslim they would be treated more harshly...is sickening.

They left that beautiful little girl dead, alone, and she had suffered injury and abuse for months leading up to her death, The poor child must have been living a life of pain and misery for a long time.

This is one of those news items that has really got to me. It's so sad.

The abuse she suffered had gone on for a long time. Where oh where were teachers, neighbours, friends? Why are these perverts left in charge of children? Why was her mother banished from seeing the girl? and why didn't her mum fight harder to have control...so many questions.

It seems this little girl was left like a lamb to the slaughter in the 'care' of fucking animals.

The unsavoury truth is that many muslim families are male dominated and abuse gets hidden by all members of the family and community. As a girl, she'd have no rights in the eyes of this patriarchal family unit. Even less her mother who isn't muslim. Like you said in the other thread people tolerate abuse for many reasons. And that's clearly what's gone on here. It takes real balls to call this kind of thing out. It's easier to turn away and not create waves.

It utterly sickens me that people will look the other way. I know Muslims will often isolate themselves from none Muslims, I see it round here all the time, but those kids go to school. Why were bruises or signs of sexual abuse, if that was happening, not noticed and dealt with?

I reported a case of child abuse years ago, no one in the street where they lived would. I heard second hand what was happening, and I also saw how the child acted....I went round and confronted the parents one day when I was told they had locked the kid in the garage...I was told to piss off.
I went up to school, where this lad attended, was told he was already on the child at risk register, and the head would investigate.

Next thing the family just disappeared, the head even came round to our house to see if I had any more info about them,...it was a shambles.

Speaking of shoplifting, we were having a coffee in Sainsbury's recently, a man walked from the store, through into the cafe and out the cafe door, he was laden down with piles of clothes.

The two security guards, who are stationed near the main doors, did sod all. When I was leaving, I said to them, a man just walked out of the store with probably hundreds of ££ of clothes...right under your noses.

They didn't even look bothered. Idiots.
