BIB: my first thoughts too.

“He also told jurors that he caused fractures to Sara and hit her with a cricket bat and metal pole while she was tied up with tape.” He also refused a phone call be made for an ambulance instead opting to hit her with a metal pole…

but claims he didn’t intend to kill her. My arse he didn’t. Deliberate actions by all three.

ALL involved should have the book thrown at them. No ifs, no buts… whole life order for each of them.

She was tied up with tape and beaten. I really.hope someone does that to him in prison. The stepmum bit her legs, thighs etc. Hope she gets bitten hard in prison on her face for everyone to see!

Life for them never released, a whole tariff for these vile, abusive creatures!

Urfan Sharif has denied the brother, Sara's uncle knew what was happening, he said he kept the abuse away from him because he would have told their father....but I think everything he says is a lie.

He denied the uncle was involved, when the prosecutor said it would have taken two people to administer some of the abuse against Sara, one to hold her down whilst the other burned her and bit her, he blamed 'other children'.

It was the three adults in this case, but I do remember reading of a child abuse case in America. The mother was the abuser, the father was the enabler. They had several children, only one boy was abused. The other children also joined in the abuse, no doubt thinking if they did, it wouldn't happen to them.

Jeeeesus! Burnt her as well as everything else. Her uncle was involved. The creature called dad, wants to take the blame thinking he will get the others off, so just he goes down, no they all abused, beaten, bit , burned her. Life must mean life! Poor little.mite. I'm so sad for the abuse, the immense pain she suffered 😢

I've read the link my god, an iron, boiling water, broke her spine oh please let someone do this to them in prison. Make them suffer! Bastards!

I'm so extremely sad that not one person questioned her black eye or other injuries. No one for her to turn to. 😞

“broke her spine“… imagine the excruciating pain that poor little girl must have endured. This is truly a case of death being a blessed relief.

I have to try and stop reading this thread. I usually avoid child/elderly/animal abuse threads because, like most people, seeing detailed reports of the needless pain and suffering inflicted on the helpless, is just too soul-crushing for me.

I know what you mean about it being very hard to read, and it's a lot less upsetting to not read.
But I honestly think, the more people who read about this little girl, and the years she suffered the most horrendous abuse, it means she won't be forgotten about.

I can easily cry when I post in this thread, I think anyone with an ounce of love in them could and does, but it helps keep her memory alive, and hopefully it may help others spot abuse when it happens to future Sara's.

She could have been helped, and thanks to society in general, who prefer to 'not get involved' but especially trained social workers who once more let a child be brutally abused and tortured when they had been alerted to her bruises etc...she wasn't helped, she lived and died alone.

It is for a victim or a witness, the actual accused can't be forced to give evidence.

"Sara Sharif’s father will be in “circles of hell for eternity” for what he did to his daughter but only her stepmother knows how she died, jurors have been told.

On Friday (November 22), defence lawyers were giving closing speeches in the Old Bailey trial of taxi driver Urfan Sharif, 42, his wife Beinash Batool, 30, and brother Faisal Malik, 29, for the murder of the 10-year-old last August."

"Sharif denied putting a hood over Sara’s head and biting and burning her with a hot iron and boiling water during a campaign of abuse. His lawyer Naeem Mian KC suggested only Batool knew the truth of how Sara died, but had opted not to give evidence.

Mr Mian told jurors: “It’s so difficult to try and untangle all of this and see what people are saying because the only person who can say what happened on the Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday when Sara is in her arms is her.” Sharif was undoubtedly a “scumbag” but had at least gone into the witness box and “opened himself up”, Mr Mian said."

"We don’t know why there are blood spots in the kitchen downstairs because the only person who can say what actually happened on August 8 is Batool and she has not told you.” Why Batool did not call an ambulance and instead made 30 calls to her family also remained a mystery, the court was told."
