But what about child murderers like Rose West and Myra Hindley?
From what we read, those women are not hounded in prison, they appear to gain some sort of status because of their notoriety.
Maybe it's different for women in prison....I really hope not though.
That judge was smart upset and angry and he obviously wanted to give
whole life tariffs but couldn't under the many sentencing rules so...
he didn't just announce sentences but added minimum to them.
That's when you can apply for release on parole but parole applications take time often a few years time so
the sentences are longer than the actual numbers.

The judge was presumably speaking his own words, and he spoke from the heart, I don't know how he got through the long summing up tbh, it was really hard to listen to.
He, the so called father, will die in prison, God willing she is never released.
They will start their sentences in local prisons like Strangeways etc. They will then be moved to maximum security prisons as do all cons doing five years or more. I used to visit a friend in H.M.P Wakefield Yorkshire who was given five years for smuggling cannabis. He used to tell me stories about some of the lifers in their and other extremely dangerous men. The murders were usually domestic crimes but there were many very dangerous men in their to be wary of and some of them wouldn't miss a beat if they had the chance to kill a nonce or worse get a few seconds alone with one. The likes of Strangeways are tough prisons but nothing compared with max establishments.

Let’s see how handy at torture he is with hardened men and not a vulnerable 10 year old. Hoping to hear future reports of miserable and painful existences for each of them.
one thing that struck me hearing about the stepmother is her supposed “kindness”…tending to a wound, buying her clothes. Excuse me though, isn’t that what being a parent is all about anyway? Says a lot about her abuse if these had to be pointed out. I’m sure the father worked and put food on the table, is that deemed an act of kindness also?
The hot irons on Sara's buttocks. The judge pointed out it would have taken two people to carry out that torture, one to hold her down while the other one burned her.
The burn wounds were left untreated. When she was tied up, with a bag over her head, she was unable to use the toilet, so the burn wounds got even more infected.
When she vomited and soiled herself, because of the way she was treated and because she was unable to use the toilet, she was tortured some more.
I hope the prisoners these two come into contact with, will have googled the judges summing up before sentencing. His description of how they tortured this little girl may give them some ideas.

Prisoners have visitors Syl so even if the inmates are ignorant to the judge’s summation there’s bound to be a visitor or two willing to do the deed. Thankfully.
The cruelty / depravity of some people still shocks me no matter how many cases I read about. The judge today has helped to restore a modicum of faith in the justice system tbh. Many sentences leave me shaking my head in disbelief.
You won't hear many stories about the hell they get because the governors don't like such stories to get out especially when the screws are usually responsible for making it possible.
The odd story will filter out but you can rest assured there will be lots of events in the lives of these people... the long lock downed lives of misery.
The rest of their lives is a long time.
I applaud that judge.

Publicly hanging them wouldn’t be a bad thing as in cases like this where the evidence is solid there’s no reason to keep them alive on the public’s dime. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen sogiving them a daily taste of what Sara went through is just as satisfying to me particularly when they have so many years ahead of them and the only people who tolerate child / elderly abusers are abusers themselves.
Imagine having to protect these murderers’ “human rights” / safety knowing they’d tortured a child to death. Not something I could do.

Death is no punishment compared to a life of fear.
Ask shipman Huntley etc.
OK Shipman managed to escape but many high profile killers and low profile too wish death would come upon them.
Killing them is doing them a favour.

Totally agree a lifetime of fear is the best punishment of the two. It just galls me that they’re still breathing, she isn’t; they’ll feel the change of seasons, she won’t; they’ll have moments of laughter, she won’t; their safety will be a priority to some, her’s wasn’t. If these pieces of shit get through their sentences they could still have a life outside of prison, Sara can’t.
I never thought I’d welcome capital punishment but I do with these three. I so wish I hadn’t watched the judge today, affected me more than I thought it would.

My thoughts too. They would rather die than spend their whole life looking over their shoulder. That would be torture, oh wait ......
