Articles like this make me feel physically sick, those poor defenceless animals, horrific.

What would make a human being so depraved? I hope his background is studied, what was he like as a child?, when did this start, maybe by trying to understand what twisted traits cause this sort of behaviour, it could help others  in the future.

He's not some thicko council estate scumbag but an educated University type.

Something must have happened in his childhood maybe, whether it be rough or privileged, to make an adult as depraved as this.

His wife was unaware....but surely he must have been giving off some sort of vibe that he was abnormal.

The fear they will face as their execution date nears will be nothing to the abject terror they feel as they take that final walk knowing that this is it the last few minutes of their life. Then they will be forgotten by the vast majority of the world. No cushy cell with books tv 3 meals a day doctors monitoring their health. Games of table tennis art classes even reading a book. Short of throwing them into a dark dungeon and abusing them ,making them suffer every day of their life why keep them alive because you become no better than them

Most humans no matter if they believe in the afterlife or not are terrified by the fear of their own demise. These people can't be saved they can't be rehabilitated. They don't care for human life and would kill again given the opportunity. It's best to just remove them from this earth they have no right to drawl breath. Best to just kill them

You should write fiction as you have a great imagination.   However reality is often very different and you are relying on others to make them "suffer".   Let's imagine they are put in a psych ward and given help everyday to help them overcome there psychological disorders.   Prisons nowadays are considered rehabilitation centres.

I've been to prison so do have some experience.

If they get sent to hospital then they will receive benefits from the DWP whatever they may along with having a bank account and be able to have regular visits and stuff from outside that a prisoner couldn't have and have a reasonably comfortable life and if they're sent to hospital they wouldn't be executed either if execution was available.

I take back what I said about writing fiction.  I still think that the death penalty should be considered in such circumstances.   We can agree to disagree.

I have read the details of what he actually did and will never tell a living soul unless they want to know.

Someone on a wildlife forum gave think link to what the torture and murder involved.

It is absolutely horrifying and I have a very strong stomach.

Even to his pet who he claims he 'loved'.

After he tortured and killed his dog he called for others to do the same in their memory.

Oh and he has admitted abusing animals since being a young child.

A psychopath.

The worst thing is I actually followed his crocodilian site and articles and also he was the expert chosen to measure  the famous giant Saltie Lolong.

Hope everyone is ok.

Phil.

The press thankfully did not go into detail Mags.

They could not - it is far, far too disturbing for general reading and to be frank I wish I had not found out the true horror of this living filth.

I want this bastard to go down for a very long time but I expect he will not get the justice he deserves.

All those documentaries I saw him on and he looked normal caring for the crocodilians.

I hope you and everyone are ok.

I miss you.

Phil. X

I read the full horror of what this beast did and as a dog owner and someone who would protect my dog with my life, I just don't know what to say.

You know how the authorities caught him?

Someone trying to track him down noticed that one of the murdered dogs was wearing a collar that is only issued in Darwin, Australia.

He also noticed the person in the video had small moles on his left arm.

I don't want to know.   If there's one thing I cannot stomach it's animal cruelty or child cruelty.   Can't bear it.

Hi Vic ky and everyone!hi

Glad you saw the Komodo.

As for Britton it's  horrifying to think he even fooled David.

If only the authorities would do to him what he did to the animals - the sick, evil, twisted scumbag.

Phil.

I caught my neighbour hitting his dog once and threatened to thump him, he stopped sharpish.

Inadequate, pathetic, cowards.

Can only hurt those that can't fight back.

How would you cope being on a jury?

I did jury service, I didn't get anything too upsetting, but one jury did.

We would see them at break times, some were very visibly upset and had to be comforted, but they went back in after their breaks.

That’s a lame apples to oranges comparison dunno As a jury member, I’d brace myself to cope with it all of course.

Whereas being online usually allows me to control what I choose to look at. And I always opt to NOT look at something I know would deeply distress me.

I say ‘usually’, because sometimes uncensored stuff can accidentally slip through. I’ll never forget seeing an absolutely harrowing photo online (with no spoiler alert) of a small child riddled with small pox. That image haunted me for days.

I was called twice and couldn't do it, once because I couldn't travel there, too far, and last year I was having operation. Bet I don't get called anymore, damn!

I agree with Vam. When you do jury duty, you mentally prepare yourself for possible upset...it would be harrowing, but you do your duty.
Online, you usually have the choice to look or not. I also opt NOT to look at most stuff.

I don't get why people would voluntarily want to see animal or child cruelty, and worse torture of beheading...what's seen cant be unseen, I would have nightmares.

But did you find yourself dominated by the rest of the group / forced to be a stuffed dummy in deliberations ?

It was a question asked out of genuine concern, no sarcasm meant at all.
