I only know Canny and Stoo, why do you want to get rid of them? Maybe they think the same of you

It's a bit drastic to want to 'rid the earth' of any poster.lol

Especially people like Canny....she could be hilarious at times.

Whys she banned then.  Answer us that.

Being banned and wishing people dead is hardly in the same ballpark. lol

Had to do with some letter she wrote and did a reveal on Dogs, and it began Dear Sir, so Dean ran with that and quoted Dear Sir, for every post he made to her.  It drove her mental and she spewed out some classics.  lol

I know Jack and Vick will remember AustinBB.

Just did some surfing around on Facebook and found out she passed about a year ago. She was 64. I'm thinking cancer because the death notice mentioned to send donations to the American Cancer Society.

Unfortunately, we had a a falling out over Trump over on Dogs.

We went way back to the old SOL days. Our relationship was a very random happenstance..

Austin was a mortgage broker in Austin TX. She did loans in my neck of the woods. She also posted on SOL. One night we were on SOL talking about work and we realized that we were in the same business. She mentioned a builder she did loans for in my area and my mouth dropped open.

Here I was, in like 2007, talking to a stranger on British news forum, and come to find out, I had spoken to her earlier in the week about a deal. I called her on the phone right then and we both about fell out of our chairs..

What were the odds?

We had lots of conversations through the years, both online and on the phone. Her boy and my daughter were the same age.

When we fell out a little over a year ago, I should have called her.

Can't do that now. 😕

Wow Mads that's a nice story pity it ended the way it did but there's a bit of the wow factor in there for sure!

Of course I remember her not sure if you remember but for a while I suspected she was you as in you'd set up a second account to back yourself up!

 CJ thought the same.

But he was obsessed about it. Stoo knew better and had to finally put him in timeout over it..

It's a small world, big coincidence that you 'met' an almost  neighbour of yours on a Brit forum.

Falling out with people on forums isn't like falling out with people in real life, and in hindsight, had you known she was going to die, you would have probably rung her....but none of us have crystal balls.

The internet is making it much smaller.

Austin's son is a Facebook friend with one of my daughters best friends. They must have met in college as they were in the same town at the same time.

There's a good chance my daughter met Austin's son at some time too.

Wow … MD you’ve brought a whole new meaning to ‘It’s a small world“.

Except Texas ain‘t all that small, so what are the odds for a connection like that to happen and, as you said, especially on a Brit forum?

I remember Austin. I kinda liked her sass, apart from her views on the Papaya Pol Pot of course wink She had great taste in music too.

RIP…

Look at me and Digger, I bet we live less than 20 miles away from each other, my mum was bred and born a stones throw away from her.
